Tweeting bike hits east London

Artist Pete Fowler has created a bitchin' bike. It tweets.

It's all part of the East Festival taking place in London over the next few days. The festival is meant to celebrate the diversity of East London, and the twitter-equipped bike is sharing the story.

The twike (sorry) will send out tweets when it comes within range of key areas at the festival. There will also be a Google Maps mashup that shows the path of the bike through East London. Follow the bike at Twitter.com/eastfestival, and get all the benefits of cycling without the "making your legs tired" part.
