On Friday, President-Elect Obama spoke about the pressing issue of getting a fitting dog for teh household at his first press conferance since he won the election.
"We have two criteria that have to be reconciled," he said. "One is that Malia is allergic, so it has to be hypoallergenic. There are a number of breeds that are hypoallergenic.
"On the other hand, our preference would be to get a shelter dog, but, obviously, a lot of shelter dogs are mutts like me. So whether we're going to be able to balance those two things I think is a pressing issue on the Obama household"
Of course this had to become an ad. TBWA\Chiat\Day, Los Angeles were first off the bat to get a mutt and "President-elect Obama" into a press ad - where Pedigree offer to help Obama fulfill his first promise: finding a dog to adopt for his daughters
